About The Author

Lucas Van Deventer finds joy and passion in writing. He always has ever since he was little. He could express himself easily through writing as friends and family grew familiar with his work. He later graduated from Springfield College in MA with a sports journalism and communications degree. He also found ways to stay active in his community in Connecticut where he spent most of his life growing up and competed on many sports teams in high school. He played tennis collegiately and coached for a few years during and after! Lucas has a strong belief that when working together and sharing your struggles through tough times: team work, friendship, and a positive attitude is the key to success and happiness. The mantra, “Be true, Be you” has been a strong foundation in his life and a dedication statement to be the best version of himself everyday!
